The Integrated Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung Disease course is a 2-month intermediate level and self-paced eLearning course. The course is offered in English, targeting middle level health care workers from Kenya. It is sponsored by the Combating Malaria and Tuberculosis in Kenya Project and open for self-enrollment.

The course consists of 10 short courses namely:

  • Course 1: Introduction to Tuberculosis (TB)
  • Course 2: Drug Sensitive Tuberculosis (DSTB)
  • Course 3: Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (DRTB)
  • Course 4: Leprosy
  • Course 5: Management of LTBI (TPT)
  • Course 6: Pharmacovigilance
  • Course 7: TB Commodity Management
  • Course 8: Chronic Lung Diseases
  • Course 9: TB Advocacy, Communication and Community Engagement (ACCE)
  • Course 10: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
Upon successful completion of each course, attaining a passmark of 80%, you will be able to download a digital certificate of completion and be awarded 16 continuous professional development (CPD) points from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

Course instructors:
The course instructors are drawn from the Ministry of Health's National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung Disease Programme (DNTLD-P), World Health Organization, Amref Health Africa, Centre for Health Solutions, KCCB Komesha TB, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Respiratory Society of Kenya, Centers for Disease Control, Global Fund, Kenya Medical Training College, KELIN, Kenyatta National Hospital and County Government.
